The Behavioural Sciences Student Development Committee reviews referrals under the Professional Suitability Policy.  If a concern about the professional suitability is identified, the Committee evaluates all information shared and partners with the student to determine the best possible outcome for ensuring their success in the profession.

There are several possible outcomes of this process: The Committee may decide that no further action is needed. The situation may require educational/developmental action such as researching relevant topics, seeking growth-activities, attending skills-coaching skills, exploring training on ethical codes, or other growth-promoting tasks. However, the severity of the situation may also lead to academic dismissal.
